Nick Turner

Born in 1957 in San Diego County, Nick spent his teenage years in the east and midwest, then returned to San Diego where he finished a computer science degree. In 1979 he moved to the Bay Area to work for Atari, designing video games until 1983. When video-game burnout set in, he moved to Boulder Creek and set up a computer bulletin board called Stuart II. In 1988 he moved to Palo Alto, working as a software consultant. He still takes on technical projects from time to time, but these days he does a lot more too.

The spiritual quest came to life in the 80s after Atari. There was time to recuperate, to study spiritual books, and discover various teachers. Life events brought difficulty, which deepened the journey, and through the study of meditation, yoga, and spiritual philosophy some measure of balance was attained.

Nick enjoys exploring all fields of science, technology, and natural history. It is his great joy to understand how the world works, and to share that understanding. He is also a lover of art and form, especially evolving art, of which the metaflowers are examples.

Nick hopes that you will sample some of his offerings. He wants to develop them into ever-growing sources of support because they are what he loves to do more than anything else.

Nick says: I am looking for a new intimate companion for the next part of my/your/our life journey.
