Nick says: "Tales from curiosity junction," was a fictional sci-fi fantasy. Of course it was! It was populated by bizarre, fanciful aliens. But when Ben Cypress Joy appeared, something changed. Suddenly they could all speak and act for themselves. Since that day, I am no longer the author. Now I watch them live their independent lives, and write down the story as it unfolds. There was an urge to build a web site around the new stories. The first "curiosity junction" was an intricate visual poem, a gallery of branching stories that could be explored in many different ways. It was an early exploration of the artistic possibilities of that wonderful new expressive medium, the web. Ben and I are pleased to bring back into the light that first, classic version of curiosity junction, including stories, galleries, poetry, weirdness, enneagram, and much more. explore |
